Receiving & Inspection Specialist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Receiving & Inspection Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a keen eye for quality, and a profound understanding of luxury retail items. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound shipments, conducting comprehensive quality inspections, and maintaining accurate reporting of inventory. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury retail sector.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage inbound shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and accurately reported.
  • Inspect and grade all incoming inventory for defects, damage, or counterfeit signs, following guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient input of received items data into the company’s inventory management system.
  • Liaise with the inventory team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received shipments.
  • Provide comprehensive reports on received shipments, including variances and quality assessments.
  • Collaborate with other teams to continuously improve the receiving and inspection processes.

Senior Accountant

Job Description

LePrix is seeking a Senior Accountat to join our fast growing business. The key accounting resource will have a strong working knowledge of GAAP and tax accounting principles and will engage cross-departmentally to support the strategic direction of the organization. Under the direction of the Controller, the senior accountant will be responsible for overseeing the posting of GL transactions, preparing GL reconciliations, processing inter-company transactions and reconciliation, A/R and A/P processing and assist with the monthly financial close and reporting. In addition, this role will respond to ad hoc reporting requests, support financial analysis and provide general account administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage general ledger close and financial statement reporting on a monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly accruals and perform account reconciliations
  • Familiar with inter-company transaction processing and reconciliation
  • Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications to record revenue and expenses into the general ledger in a timely manner
  • Responsible for G/L accounting related to A/P, A/R and Cash accounting
  • Perform month-end general ledger reconciliations to support monthly close and provide P&L variation analysis.
  • Support payroll related activities including payroll and commission payment processing
  • Assist in the preparation process for tax and other compliance reporting
  • Support of KPI tracking.weekly cash flow reporting and provide the Management team with timely, accurate and actionable accounting information.
  • Support corporate finance activities including capital raises
  • Assist Controller with process improvements, efficiencies and internal stakeholders
  • Interact with senior management to assist with budget planning
  • Support the finance function with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Enjoys working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related professional experience in accounting, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited four-year college or university. CPA or CPA candidate preferred but not required.
  • Experience in A/P, A/R, cash receipts, and routine account reconciliations.
  • Effective accounting and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of results.
  • Good research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of GAAP and tax accounting principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Adobe, Word, and the Google suite.
  • Strong proficiency with Quickbooks or similar accounting systems and payment systems such as bill.com, Stripe etc.

LePrix seeks an Account Manager to guide our retail customers throughout their pre-owned procurement journey to create an enduring, expanding, and rewarding commercial relationship. The AM needs to be an excellent communicator and responsible for managing client relationships and growing the client’s use and adoption of LePrix’s platform, and support our clients throughout their buyer journey. You will build strong relationships with your stores at all levels, working with the broader team to ensure partners are actively engaged to drive business results. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and growing the sales and retention of LePrix’s wholesale store partners. You will build strong relationships with your stores at all levels, working with the broader team to ensure partners are actively engaged to drive business results. LePrix is a fast-growing B2B marketplace platform for retailers to source authentic, pre-owned luxury globally and at scale. This is a unique startup opportunity to develop and grow an exciting business model and company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead account management projects, including related operational execution to ensure client success
  • Assist with sales planning and account level projections
  • Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with Client Teams, including Senior Leadership, and buying organization decision makers within each customer. Create strong support for the LePrix Platform and secure their willingness to advocate on LePrix’s behalf.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to our retail partners by first understanding the challenges they face and then connecting them to ways we can help overcome those challenges to bring value.
  • Upsell and implement service offerings to increase customer revenue, retention and overall satisfaction
  • Responsible for retaining and growing existing store partner accounts and integrating new onboarded partners to meet and exceed monthly company goals
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with retail partners to uncover needs and actively contact and engage with partners to consistently purchase
  • The account manager is responsible to present the customer QBR, resolve partner concerns and act on feedback
  • Analyze partners on a monthly basis to strategize partner success
  • Provide training on platform and product, inventory assortment planning, buying and sell through strategies to elevate client partnerships and our platform
  • Work cross-functionally to understand the unique needs (product mix, services, pricing) of each of the clients in the markets you are managing
  • Proactively seek, maintain and update knowledge on each store’s status, seasonal and future plans, to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Contribute to sales development and marketing strategy
  • Devise and maintain Account Manager SOP to improve efficiency of managing partner accounts
  • Work cross functionally between teams to deliver value to partners

We’re hiring for a PHP/NodeJS Developer who is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of and works well with a small and talented team. As a PHP Developer you enjoy writing beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways.

You will be a part of a full-stack team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching.

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Minimum 2-5 years in back-end, PHP based development
  • Advanced Experience with Laravel, Tailwind, and MySQL
  • Writes “clean”, well-designed code
  • Follow industry best practices
  • Experience with the agile software development lifecycle practices.
  • Participate in project scoping and planning, build technical specifications and project documentation
