Are you STILL on the hunt for the perfect Louis Vuitton bag, but can't make up your mind? Well, first check out this guide. And then keep reading about the uber-popular Neverfull!
Whether spotted on the shoulder of a fashion editor, a Kardashian, or the founders of LePrix, we can all agree the Louis Vuitton Neverfull is the ultimate—pack everything but the kitchen sink—tote.
Since we’re such fans, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we’ve got dozens of LV Neverfulls in brand new, slightly loved, or vintage condition. This boxy carryall is the black hole of designer handbags (unless you use the matching pouch and the internal zip pocket) as it seemingly sucks in everything from a tube of lipstick to an Amex card, your iPhone, a laptop and your pet bunny who’s been missing for the past few hours.
Seriously, this bag can handle it all. As a city girl, I can appreciate an oversized tote that’ll take me from an 8am subway ride to work, to a 6:30pm happy hour, to 9pm dinner at the hottest new spot in Brooklyn, and then a West Chelsea nightclub at 1am…all without going home. The Neverfull is like Superman’s phone booth—carry it wherever you go and your costume changes are endless! Not quite, but you get the point.
So, I know you're thinking, "EVERYONE and their grandmother has this bag." Well, grandma is really cool and stylish. Also, your options aren't limited to the LV monogram or the Damier—there are also limited-edition prints. Lucky for you, both Louis Vuitton and LePrix have so much more in store!
Side note: Remember I told you LV raised their prices? Hurry up and get a resale LV from LePrix and save some money.
Rumor has it the Nevefull was created by Louis Vuitton to rival Goyard's Saint Louis Tote. Since there are many similarities, this theory doesn't seem too far-fetched. After all, they're both boxy totes covered in logos and they come in three different sizes, but we're here to talk about the Neverfull so maybe I'll create a blog comparing it to the Saint Louis later in the month.
This is the smallest of the totes, measuring at 8.7"H x 11.2" L x 5.1" W with a 6.5" handle drop. It's the perfect size for a petite person, or someone who'd rather not tote their entire bathroom every time they leave the house. Side note: the Neverfull Damier Azur PM has been discontinued, but you can still get it here.
Coming in at 11.5" H x 12.5" L x 6.5" W and with an 8.5" handle drop, this roomy and sturdy tote is the most popular size. Large enough to fit your laptop, your makeup bag and your little dog Toto too.
The largest of the three, the GM weighs in at 12.8" H x 15.6" L x 7.9" W and that means it's HUUUUUGE. With a tote this large and luxurious, who needs a suitcase?
While we know Louis Vuitton—and everyone else—loves the LV monogram-coated canvas with leather trim, there are many other options like limited-edition designs that are unique, beautiful and logical.
This is the second most common design. It features brown check- and PVC-coated canvas with brown leather trim.
Here is a Damier Azur design with the signature grey and navy blue check-coated canvas and leather trim, but I purposely chose a Neverfull that includes the limited-edition Forte Dei Marmi print because only 250 were created...and that's how you make a statement.
Epi is a pigmented, smooth leather which is embossed in a ripple-like textured pattern. It's incredibly durable and waterproof. If you'd like a dressier version, the Electric Epi has a patent leather finish.
Crafted in cotton, linen and nylon with a mini monogram design and leather trim.
The Neverfull is an iconic and insanely popular bag, but some people (like me) would rather spend money on a more exclusive design and that's where the limited-edition styles come into play. From Stephen Sprouse to Takashi Murakami, and Jeff Koons to Richard Prince, notable artists have made their mark on Louis Vuitton history with designer collaborations that rare and valuable. Let's take a look at some of LePrix's favorite Neverfull collabs.
Stephen Sprouse brings street art to the Neverfull with his Louis Vuitton collaboration. Signature monogram-coated canvas gets an extra dash of flair with fluorescent Louis Vuitton graffiti.
An artful rose pattern designed by Stephen Sprouse blooms on this Louis Vuitton Neverfull, lending a brilliant and unique touch to the otherwise common tote.
Louis Vuitton created wearable and totable art with their unique and stunning Jeff Koons collaboration. The Fragonard painting "Girl With Dog" is the focal point of this bag, with gold tone reflective metallic letters, LV monogram, flower detailing, and pink leather trim.
Welcome to the jungle with the Louis Vuitton Neverfull. The renowned monogram print goes wild with a giant animal print, detachable pouch and signature LV touches. Oh, and let's not forget the one side is black and the other is brown, which makes it easier to coordinate with your outfit.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! You're in a race against other Neverfull lovers to snag this limited-edition Louis Vuitton Damier Canvas Race Print Neverfull MM.
