Lee's Corner: Thigh-High Anxieties
Lee, How does one wear thigh high boots without looking like a lady of the night? Furthermore, I feel like the trend is completely passé because I don't see many women wearing them. Love, Thighs to the Sky   Dear Thighs to the Sky,

Yes it is true. Thigh high boots have a “Pretty Woman” (minus millionaire Richard Gere) type of reputation. That being said, I will teach you, to quote sting, “not put on the red light” when you wear them.

Luckily for you the weather is approaching sub-zero quickly so layering is a great solution to your fear of being "slut-shamed" by the villagers (we kid).  The outfit I created below shows you how to take the trend on tastefully.

Instead of opting for a jean, boot combo try a skirt instead. The length of the pleated circle skirt is perfect for the thigh high. The pairing covers almost all the leg leaving maybe an inch or two exposed. It's sexy without being provocative. The Chunky knit makes it casual and the leather jacket makes it cool. You're welcome...

Oh and if you were worried about them being "outdated", these ladies will prove you wrong.
