Fashion Inspired By Wearable Tech

Recently, the digital world has been buzzing about the latest iteration of personal technology- wearable tech. The most well known is Google Glass, but Google is not the only player in the game.

Introducing Intimacy 2.0, a glossy couture dress whose opacity changes based on the wearer's heartbeat. Its design uses smart foils that respond to the wearer's biology, challenging perceived boundaries of public vs. private. Or consider the GER mood sweater, which translates the wearer's emotional state into a pretty pulsing light show around its collar. There are even dresses now that can make cocktails on command. The fashion of the future is officially here. Beyond their amazing functional capabilities, these pieces are sleek, minimalistic, and very, very modern. If you'd like to rock the high-tech look but on a tight budget, try some of the items below to fulfill your futuristic fantasies. They may not change colors based on your mood, but they sure will let you express your inner geek.
