It’s July. The inevitable heat wave is creeping in, and Nelly’s “Hot in Herre” is once again our nation’s theme song.

As the temperature rises to an uncomfortable level, here are a few tips to help you beat the heat and keep you from wanting to take a dip in the closest public water fountain.  

1. Keep it Light

If you are trying to keep it cool (not just your body temperature), light colors and fabrics are your new best friends. 2. Loosen Up

Ditch the body cons and embrace the loose sundresses. One of the best ways to keep cool while still looking cute is to don a loose maxi or a roomy shift dress.
