Featuring Liz Fassbender of So Much to Smile About!

We are absolutely thrilled and honored to feature Liz Fassbender of So Much to Smile About!  Liz is the fabulous owner and editor DC-based fashion and lifestyle blog So Much to Smile About.  She's a do-it-all tastemaker, writing about fashion and beauty trends, fashion tips, street style, DC fashion, and more.  Liz is also the Co-Founder of  CapFABB (Capital Area Fashion & Beauty Bloggers) a group created to give DC Metropolitan area fashion and beauty bloggers a place to communicate, collaborate and meet.  Liz dropped by SNOBSWAP to share with our lucky readers her winter style tips, beauty products she can't live without, fave items on SNOBSWAP and more!

1.  What do you love most about writing your blog So Much To Smile About?

Something about writing and researching and being creative makes me so so happy! I never imagined I would have such an interest in fashion, but blogging really does give me so much joy.

2.  What are your favorite winter trends?
I love skinny pants with all kinds of boots, menswear style coats, lots of layers and scarves, and military chic looks.
3.  What would you wear to a holiday party?
My ideal holiday outfit is an embellished dress (metallic-like, brocade or embroidered) or a little black dress with lots of bold accessories. Something fancy but fun!
4.  What is the one essential beauty product you cannot live without?
Liquid eyeliner (specifically Le Metier de Beaute). But also Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer!
5.  What do you love about the DC fashion scene?
I love how fun and vibrant it is - people think there isn't much style here, but there is an amazing fashion scene, lots of events, and incredibly creative and motivated (and supportive) people!
6.  What are your five favorite SNOBSWAP items and how would you wear them?
love this Dolce & Gabbana coat for winter - it's a beautiful color and would work with dresses or jeans both (
This Nanette Lepore dress would look great with tights and black pumps (!
Who doesn't love a good animal print? This Halston dress would be great when it gets a bit warmer (
I love this Proenza Schouler skirt - perfect for the holidays (!
Finally, everyone needs a classic pair of black pumps. I would wear these Christian Louboutins everywhere, with anything (
