Denim shorts used to be my worst enemy. So much so that these are the second pair that I have ever bought in my entire life; the first being a pair of American Eagle ones in tenth grade (2008). Since buying these, I have become obsessed with these high waisted denim shorts!! Somehow, they fit perfectly and the deep indigo wash matches with everything. When I mix them with my undying love of silk shirts (currently all vintage thanks to my mom!) and my always-dependable loafers (they are older than me! Once again thanks mom). My go to hobo which I conveniently made into a cross body and a silk scarf around my head and you have my full proof trying to beat the D.C heat outfit. I always know that this outfit and slight variations of this outfit, won't ever let me down. However, this past week it was 106 so I am still deciding if clothes are still a necessity!
